What are some contraindications of video self-modeling (VSM)? Have you found a certain diagnosis or behavioral problem that VSM might not work well with?
Answer
I have been trying VSM with every diagnosis and behavioral problem I come across. The only population that it has not been successful with are those children who do not have self-recognition. The test for this would be to have the child look in the mirror and see if they recognize that that is them in the mirror.
