Although professionalism is an elusive concept, it is defined by sets of attitudes and behaviors specific to professions. You know it when you see it. You certainly know it when you don't. This course provides an overview of expected professional behaviors in healthcare including confidentiality, ethics, professional development, communication, and customer/patient service.

This webinar addresses key specific requirements for OT documentation including screens; evaluation/plan of care; reason for referral; prior level of function; goals; and progress reporting and discharge summary. In this course you will learn how vision impacts learning. Through lecture, videos, demonstrations, and case studies, this course includes: common signs/symptoms of visual problems, the basics of visual screening, overview of visual treatment options including glasses and vision therapy, and classroom recommendations for the teacher or therapist.

This course will cover upper extremity assessment and treatment strategies for the pediatric/young adult population affected by joint hypermobility syndromes. The treatment focuses on both orthopedic strategies along with adaptive methods for these individuals.

The purpose of this presentation is to offer Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, and patients a guide to confidently engage in treatment protocols specific to post-mastectomy and/or axillary node dissection. This educational guide covers a range of motion exercises; self-care/ADLs; energy conservation and cancer-related fatigue; outcomes measures to include in evaluation; as well as warning signs to prevent infection, lymphedema, and contractures.
