The Falls Management Puzzle in Older Adults: Looking at All the Pieces, Part 1
Presented in two parts, this course will review fall management in older adults based upon integrating multiple pieces of best evidence. Part 1 will focus on demographic perspectives, screening for falls, and those risk factors that should be considered in management. Practitioners will formulate screening questions that can comprehensively synthesize risk factors most predictive of falls. The presentation will also detail the fear of falling conditions and its role in fall prevention.
