I do not participate in hand therapy, but a combination of CTS, wrist ganglion, and severely scarred ulnar nerve was my introduction to OT. The presenter gave an excellent overview of assessing and managing carpal tunnel syndrome. His emphasis on looking at the client's occupations demonstrates the difference between occupational and physical therapy.

This course provided an excellent in-depth review of the anatomy related to carpal tunnel syndrome. I really liked how he included all the differential diagnosis to watch for that can be diagnosed as carpal tunnel erroneously. Overall, a very well presented course for a diagnosis that is taken as "simple", but can be much more.

My "somewhat" answers are due to the fact that I have worked with these patients for many years and feel confident working with those who have CTS. I took the course because I wanted to see if there was anything new out there. I think there were 1 or 2 new tidbits. Overall, I think Cameron did an excellent job presenting this info in a comprehensive way.
