Lara Taggart has been an Assistant Clinical Professor at Northern Arizona State University (NAU) Occupational Therapy Entry Level Doctorate Program since July 2015. Lara holds a Doctorate in Education from Arizona State University and a master’s in occupational therapy (OT) from AT Still University. She also works 10 hours/week at Childhelp. Childhelp is a community mental health clinic that serves children and families who have a trauma background. She has worked as an OT in various settings, which included outpatient/inpatient rehabilitation for adult and pediatric populations, school settings, and early intervention. She has served on the Executive Board of the Arizona Occupational Therapy Association as President and in Pediatric and Neuro Special Interest Groups and Legislative Committees. She was the Arizona Representative Assembly for the national OT board (American Occupational Therapy Association). She has been presenting with Maude la Roux through the ATTACh organization.

Maude le Roux is an international trainer and mentor to therapists and teachers globally. She is an occupational therapist, SIPT certified, an expert DIR training leader, and has completed several Sound Therapy certifications. Maude trains internationally in the DIRFloortime® Certificate process, Tomatis Sound therapy, and Interactive Metronome. She works with a team of occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists in her two centers. She is well known for her work with children who carry diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, attachment disorders, and dyslexia/learning disabilities, and she holds certification as a specialist in ADHD. She has presented at conferences across the US as well as internationally. She is an appointed board member of ATTACh and is completing her third three-year term. After years of extensive travel, Maude opened an online academy (www.maudeleroux.com) in January 2019. She co-authored The Listening Journey with Francoise Nicoloff, and her second book, Our Greatest Allies, is available on Amazon.com. The second book follows a detailed case study around the DIR/Floortime Method and growth in adaptive response and executive functioning skills.
