Too much font on each slide, small font size was hard to read, having the references at the top of the slide was too "busy" on the slide

This course was very easy to access online and I loved that you were able to pause the video to take notes. Rachel explained everything really well and broke it down in a very digestible way. I feel confident explaining this to patients and then sending them to CLTs for further care.

Rachel is very knowledgeable about breast cancer treatment, and provided a lot of evidence to back up what she shared. However, I found that she rushed through many of the slides. I felt that she could have decreased the number of slides for a one hour course.

I loved the content, but I feel the course could have easily been 2 hours with more explanation into methods of measuring volume of limb, the DASH, etc. Also, the review of the research articles was so fast that I had to pause several times to find where the presenter was in her slides, and determine the outcome of the research. Wonderful presenter, just wish she slowed down :-)

For some time now, my coworker and I have been trying to get our comprehensive cancer center to include us as part of the cancer team allowing us to see pt with new dx of breast cancer BEFORE treatments starts. We usually get them after all care...sometimes a year after the start of their cancer journey with fibrotic tissues, pain, and decreased functional abilities. This info will help support our position. Thank you!!

This course provided excellent information on the importance of Breast Cancer related lymphydema prevention.Preventive measures and patient education are available to the patient prior to surgery during the OT evaluations prior to surgery and post surgery. I was interesting to learn that it is within a patients control to become proactive in preventing or controlling the progressive stages of edema through healthy lifestyle choices such as exercise, especiallyUE and ROM exercises and healthy food choices.and diet

The focus on tumor boards is somewhat irrelevant to OT's. There is more emerging evidence about early rehab and OT involvement that should be mentioned. Lymphedema is decreasing due to advances in technology, more focus should be put on shoulder impairments and quality of life after breast cancer treatment which is a bigger issue in my clinical experience.
