Nice review of the evidence, but instead of summarizing one study after the other, I wish she had integrated the findings, and then spent more time showing how she uses it in her practice.

As an OT with RA, I found that the information was limiting. There are so many other alternative approaches that patients and OT's can utilize. Presently, there may not be evidenced based studies on them, however there is enough evidence by patients, alternative medicine providers, and rheumatologists to provide a better understanding and additional alternative treatments. Diet is huge in RA and should have been discussed further.

My opinion is biased due to listening to the audio rather than watching the video, but it seemed like a lot of reading titles of studies and brief overviews. Would have enjoyed case studies, perspectives, discussion of controversies. Presenter was asked about tart cherry juice and did not seem aware of its popularity for inflammation reduction. I also have RA myself (and am actively flaring), so this may have been far more useful for someone not already aware of most of what I was.

The benefit of exercising in water was not even mentioned. Water has GREAT benefits and the benefit on arthritic conditions is one of them! I suggest the presenter explore this modality. Functional mobility and activity can be addressed while in the water of appropriate temperature.I felt like the presenter was just reading from a script the entire time.
