This course was great because it really emphasized a holistic and client-centered approach to therapy, especially for neurodivergent populations. The content was practical and thought-provoking, encouraging me to reflect on my own biases and cultural awareness. I also appreciated the interactive elements, like case studies and real-world examples, which helped make the concepts feel more applicable to my future practice as an OT.

This course felt very surface level. When I registered for this course I was hoping for more of an in-depth case study type course applying how culture can affect or apply to practice, especially in the setting/ opening of the recent mission trip the presenter went on. This course felt very basic for the fact that this is a continuing education course, so all practitioners have completed schooling.

This Course provided valuable information on Cultural Humility and Cultural Sensitivity and how it applies to cultural competency within any clinical setting. This Course also provided valuable information on how culture itself directly affects how we as OT Clinicians interact with patients and co-workers, both consciously and unconsciously. Very interesting Course!

Great information regarding learning about other cultures and figuring out how to incorporate other people's beliefs, culture, family, etc. I work in a center with many cultures and have had to learn to distinguish between what is lack of knowledge vs culture in how families care for the clients I am working with. It has been a big learning curve. This course gave me more tools to use to assist with that.

Educator was extremely considerate, humbling in her approach to be an affective therapist. Great examples and pictures realistic to situation. Adaptable and fixable in order to get the best therapy out come performance results. I, belong to the World federation for Occupational Therapy. I, observed therapist giggling and laughing at some of the cultural beliefs and practices introduced at the event and there prejudice behaviors were revealed. By there conversations and responses; eye opening
