Focus was too much specifically on Frames of Reference, which was educational; however, the title of the course appeared to focus on "mental health". This was a bit of incongruence. The depth of the course was significant - it should have been a 2 hour / 2 credit course given the depth. This is a positive comment.

I think it's really interesting that horses pick up on our emotions and body clues that we put out there. I learned that the presence of animals can lower our heart rates and ground us if we are anxious.

I wanted to try a course that was completely out of the realm of something I would usually choose and this was very interesting. I have an interest in mental health and have heard of hippotherapy for children but never in this context and it was very well presented and I think the visuals and videos really helped present the topic better too.

before the virus I volunteered for horse therapy with teens with behavior disorders (mostly bullying). This program was promoted and paid by the local schools and the individuals received educational credit for problem solving class of that school.
