THE PRESENTER EXPLAINED THE DIFFERENCE IN CAUSES FOR ITW, AND WHEN TO SEEK FURTHER TESTING AND BECOME THE ADVOCATE FOR A CHILD REQUIRING THE PROPER DX. Working in the school setting, OT automatically gets brought up whenever there is a student observed to be a toe walker because of most think it is related/caused by sensory processing difficulties. I thought this CEU was informative and gave great information for me to bring back to my team at school to better consult on students who are observed toe walking.

I appreciate that Dr. Le Cras prompted all disciplines to be advocates. I selected this course for both professional and personal reasons. I'm a COTA that have worked with children who have L side paralysis in present and past . Then I have seen kids who tip toe or walk on the ball of their foot. So, I thought it would be interesting to hear what Dr. Le Cras had to say. She did not disappoint! She was well prepared and explained well.

This PT was absolutely wonderful! I could listen to her all day and would like her to present more information regarding this as I see so many clients under 3 toe walking. I now have a better sense of information I can report to my clients guardians on how to advocate to their medical professionals in regards to toe walking and what I can ask parents health backgrounds to help them with their children.
