Instructor provided important information and strategies for addressing incontinence that I was not aware of, such as addressing bowel incontinence first if the client reports incontinence with both bowel and bladder. My first instinct was to address bladder issues first as one urinates more often during the day as compared to having a bowel movement.

I actually sought out this specific lecture due to my recent patient caseload in the SNF where I work. One woman in particular was having incontinence issues that were new onset. I really thought this lecture was very well done and gave me practical tips that I can put into my practice as a COTA. I would like to see my OT department do more education on this with our patients. It's not just a nursing issue! Kudos to "Pam" the willing participant in the videos. I really like occupationaltherapy.com because I feel I learn a lot, without the distraction of being at an in-person conference.
