Excellent course! The information was well organized and very clear. I loved that the speaker did not simply read back the text but illuminated the main points with additional information in her speaking style. Overall, a great introduction and thorough review of interoception and evidence-based strategies and intervention techniques to address the needs of different ages and level of cognition.

I liked the structure of the PowerPoint: beginning with intro, then discussing process of evaluating, assessing, then treating. There were many examples, and it was very applicable to the outpatient pediatric setting. Providing learner with case study, then walking through the steps to assess, then treat case helps apply information to a realistic case. The visuals were also very beneficial!

She did not give adequate examples on how to help children/families with ID or nonverbal autism. She made it sound so easy on how to help children with mindfulness interventions, etc. but most population that I have seen with decreased ability to feel/understand their body are typically children that are nonverbal or low verbal abilities.
