As a new topic, Dr. Benson did a nice job of defining the term Interoception and the 3 areas of impact sensory, social emotional, and cognition. She explained nicely what it is and why it differs from traditional sensory practices. She offered tools for evaluations. The examples throughout the presentation were well done. The case studies at the end did a nice job of bringing the whole lecture full circle giving participants ideas of how to implement it within practice settings.
