As a new topic, Dr. Benson did a nice job of defining the term Interoception and the 3 areas of impact sensory, social emotional, and cognition. She explained nicely what it is and why it differs from traditional sensory practices. She offered tools for evaluations. The examples throughout the presentation were well done. The case studies at the end did a nice job of bringing the whole lecture full circle giving participants ideas of how to implement it within practice settings.

I liked the structure of the PowerPoint: beginning with intro, then discussing process of evaluating, assessing, then treating. There were many examples, and it was very applicable to the outpatient pediatric setting. Providing learner with case study, then walking through the steps to assess, then treat case helps apply information to a realistic case. The visuals were also very beneficial!
