I was put off by the political and personal views. Firearms can be dangerous, but to encourage a family to remove firearms as a precaution is irresponsible. There are other ways to commit suicide. My cousin and his friend plugged up his exhaust pipe. A good friend of mine used a robe belt to hang himself from a closet pole. There are many easier ways to complete suicide and when firearms are locked away, become less than a zero threat. When a child is impulsive, easy is more dangerous.

The presenter was clear and appears to really enjoy working with adolescents. The ideas for evaluation tools and types of interventions are helpful. I also appreciate the presenter's generosity in freely sharing the adolescent interest assessment that he developed. I's like it if he presented a part two class with more in depth ideas for intervention.
