I love the title of Mental Health First Aid. It is such an important topic and one that is not focused on enough, and yet it is all around us. After 30 plus years working as an occupational therapist, the information was basic, and yet, I think it is so important that the basics are reviewed often. I especially liked how the presenter focused on health care workers caring for themselves too. I appreciated the speakers knowledgeable and passion for this important topic!

I thought this course was VERY informative. It really gave me some insight of what to do in certain situations, and WHAT NOT TO DO..... I lost my brother to suicide, so this information is very dear to my heart...... In hopes that I can integrate these tools into my daily life as an OTA, to increase awareness, and to help others who don't look like they're hurting. The worst pain is often times, in silence.
