The reason I selected "moderately" for increasing level of knowledge is because this is my area of expertise. I work clinically with clients in college and in pediatrics, and I also am a consultant for a company addressing neuroinclusion and neurodiversity in the workplace via corporate trainings. I am currently involved in a large project for the biopharmaceutical industry and am conducting a needs assessment for two large corporations to inform our training. This course was excellent!

I found the course to be very interesting and challenging. Virginia is very passionate and this is evident in her speaking and what she chooses to share. I am somewhat overwhelmed with the prospect of incorporating this learning against all the systemic barriers that do exist. I would love to hear more about specific methods or changes to an existing environment/system that benefits all, such as in a classroom. Many thanks for this lecture!!!

Great introduction to neurodiversity affirming practice. Loved the review of terms, the positive message, and emphasis on learning and growing. We all have to work to improve our practice, be willing to apologize when we are wrong, and be honest where we struggle and about areas where we are still learning!

There were too many definitions and terms being reviewed as opposed to the sharing of therapeutic experiences and interventions. The presenter is immensely knowledgeable however.

The content reinforced that OTs must recognize and appreciate individual differences, but I would hope that we would already be sensitive to supporting and celebrating everyone, including neurodivergent populations, thus allowing everyone to reach their full potential. The terminology was very relevant, but at times I felt that there was too much of it. I thought that it was odd that there was an "Exam Poll" which gave the answers to the exam. However, I would have received a 100% anyway.
