Appeared very rushed, tense. She needed to slow down. Good information. Definitely new grads both OTRs and OTAs. Growing population with dementia and deficits in cognition. If caregivers involved and has more and more training in this area, I feel that there would be less burn out because the therapist would have more in their basket to pull from.

I was impressed with the depth of knowledge displayed and how practical the various approaches used by the presenter could and should be used at alltimes when dealing with one who has Dementia.

Good relevant information. This can help any organization improve communication and foster improved team dynamics within any organization. This serves to improve job satisfaction and in turn improved job performance among caregivers. All of this ultimately will build improved care of those with dementia. Good course to help integrate this when working with caregivers.

It read like a primer on how to work with folks who have dementia, which I suppose is expected of an introductory CE course. However, I didn't feel that it provided appropriate strategy/tools on how to actually sit down and train caregivers who are feeling burnt out and/or don't have enough resources themselves. Do they really have time to go through a patient simulation? Often those feel silly and childlike. What is our top priority for educating them?
