She has worked clinically in geriatrics for 20 years with the first 15 years were in the rehabilitation department in a skilled nursing facility and the five years in an outpatient clinic in an assisted living facility. She has provided consulting services to family members and caregivers who are caring for their loved ones living with dementia. She is also an instructor for the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP) Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar.
