Megan Paben received her master’s degree in occupational therapy at the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska, in 2007. Megan began her career as a school therapist in rural Nebraska, serving several small schools. After two years in the school setting, Megan transitioned into an outpatient pediatric clinic working with a variety of different diagnoses, and worked as the marketing coordinator. After a couple of years, Megan took over the manager position within the medical clinic. During this time, she worked in a school within the community as well as working with the adult population clinic that was connected to her medical clinic. In 2018, Megan and her family relocated to Colorado, where she is an occupational therapist for a growing school district. In her current position, Megan is the lead motor staff member. She serves 5 center-based classrooms for social communication as well as affective needs. Megan is a Crisis Prevention Intervention trainer for her district and an Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinical Specialist.

Stephanie Rylee

Stephanie Rylee received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Special Education with a Minor in Music from the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, in 2010. Shortly after beginning her teaching career in Moscow School District, teaching Special Education, she began her pursuit of receiving her Master’s degree. Stephanie graduated with her Masters of Education in Special Education, focusing on Curriculum, Instruction, and Behavior, from the University of Idaho in 2013. Stephanie taught at West Park Elementary (a K-2 grade school) in a small Moscow School District. She was the only Special Education Teacher at West Park Elementary, working with a team of up to ten paraprofessionals, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech/language pathologists, counselors, school psychologists, and university students (both in practicum and student teaching roles). Stephanie taught for nine years at West Park before relocating to Colorado to be closer to family. In 2019, Stephanie landed a Special Education Resource Teacher position in Widefield School District 3. She continues to facilitate and lead multiple teams and work with professionals who dedicate their time to support all student’s needs.
