I really appreciate the presenter including a parent as part of the presentation. What parents know that varied professionals may not, is that the OT treatments must be incorporated throughout the day outside of OT in order for a skill to generalize. Unfortunately, when multiple health professionals are involved, they can contradict each other on what is most important issue/treatment leaving a parent panicking and at odds with the health team.

I really liked diving into different interventions strategies as well as learning more about the Vojta technique, and the NDT approach. Another thing that I liked was that we were able to hear from the parent perspective because I think that is so important, I myself have a special needs child, and can relate to how she’s feeling.

The instructor gave a lot of evidence-based strategies, but did not have all of the specifics about the outcomes (such as what the measures indicated). She did mention a lot of areas the therapist could learn more about. I really appreciated the parent's perspective on therapy.

Just a review of literature and using a tik tok parent, not even from a child she works with. Then when speaking about specific things such Sarnat as assessment or Vojta technique, just discusses them briefly, should have been more information.

I especially found Katie’s insight extremely valuable. Perhaps, her video - with her permission, of course- could be submitted to various media outlets. Then a response and commitment from the policy makers, and community leaders, as to what specific support they are willing to fight for and provide to families with children with severe developmental delays, could be publicly extracted. Just a thought.

Appeared to have no professional experience with topic/clientele-no mention from presenter about experience in NICU/outpatient. Used 1 study as reference and a mother thru TikTok. Use of video wasn't useful-lent little/nothing to "intervention" focus of the presentation title. Seemed to talk down about COTAs. Would caution showing DME which is insurance specific. Video mother has a great deal of resources; few children have 3 activity chairs. No mention of wc. Should be "beginner" not intermed.
