Michelle Lange is so knowledgeable about this topic! I am a new grad and have been faced with my first positioning evaluation, which made me realize I have a lot to learn to be able to help my client's to the best of my ability. I love the case studies as they allow me to see the information applied to a real client. Best presenter I have watched as of today!

Lang is an excellent teacher. She consistently included multiple visuals to demonstrate the different uses of the positioning devices and their effects on pelvis/trunk/extremities. She really excelled at utilizing this medium to relay info in a way that is directly applicablento the clinic. This was aided by her smart structuring of the lecture and corresponding powerpoint. The information displayed on the powerpoint was concise without being vague. The information flowed logically from the stage of initial evaluation to intervention selection and goals/justification. She made a complex topic easy to follow. She even notes various resources for further information that can be found via other courses on this website or via outside sources such as RESNA. This class truly was excellent and I appreciate the amount of work that Lang put into rationally constructing it.

Great review. Encourage therapists to review content and advocate the clinical side with ATP's ordering a chair; and continue to stress benefit of a mat postural evaluation. I had a client who had tight hamstrings/tone; kept sliding into posterior pelvic tilt; hip flexion ROM was limited on one side; don't feel the correct type of PWC and rehab seating were ordered; really did client a disservice by not considering the benefits she would have had from different positioning strategies.
