This course provided a good overview of how to discuss caregiver burnout with family members. It provides good explanations if needed to be discussed and if needed this course is also printable for those that would like to read more about it. Caregiver burnout is real and it's really helpful to those family members to have a clinical person provide the necessary information so they can have more information.

Great course!! As a caregiver myself, I've experienced burnout...and the information in this course will be helpful to mitigate this in the future. Also, spreading this information to other caregivers and clients is crucial in a time when people are living longer and aging in place...more and more people will become caregivers. Education and support is so important in this area. Thanks for a thorough and engaging session, Mira :)

I appreciate the warmth and experience the presenter has, and her very practical and doable suggestions. In particular, the discussion around "no unsolvable problems" and being "sinkers or swimmers" helped me think a little further through scenarios when people are resistant to suggestions/experimentation. I also loved the idea of "pockets" because that thinking is so opposite of the despair/overwhelm that often lead people to believe they are stuck in a horrible situation with no possibilities.

Love the DICE model. This course really touched on a lot of what I have been going through watching my sister who is the "full time" caregiver for my parents. I appreciate the ways this presenter explained how to communicate with caregivers. "Self-Care for our caregivers is Survival" and, "View Caregivers as your secondary client".

- Thank you. Do you believe that females experience more burnout because femalesare expected to do more than males? I wish I knew how many men were on the callbefore I answered this question, but my honest answer is just, yes, it's just a culturalexpectation and not across the board..... etc"I believe that you have slightly modified this transcript to make it sound less sexist. I wonder what would have been said if the presenter "knew how many men were on the call before answering"
