Course was very informative. Made me really think about multiple dimensions/layers of cancer and how a diagnosis can infiltrate into so many different pathways of ones life

I have multiple cancers and it was hard for me to return to work. I was more unsure of what I could handle and hearing the speaker say you need to set limits and boundries while coming back into the work force was helpful. I felt better knowing I was correct in doing this as well as asking for some easy adjustments to make my case load easier.

as I've been a Cota for many years, w/ focus on inpatient rehabilitation, we are seeing MORE stage2/ 3/4 cancer patients, (which may or may or may not be appropriate for this setting), but i provide a [positive approach to their "hopes" of returning "to work". or community-based interests.

The speaker was knowledgeable and demonstrated how to think outside the box for how to have patients taking more responsibility as they are ready. She spoke of how to empower patients. I have been burned out on OT for the last two years, and have not worked in the field for the last year and a half; the speaker motivated me againz
