I do a morning exercise group with the Residents at our skilled nursing facility and I am always looking for a new type of exercise to try. I have done Yoga, Tai Chi, Jazzercise and now I can try Qigong. I like the fact you can do the routine in a wheelchair because almost all our Residents are wheelchair bound. Useful and definitely a type of exercise I will put in my repertoire. All our Residents can benefit from Qigong.

I appreciated the demonstrations, the history and benefits, and how versatile this practice can be with so many different populations, young and old. The Q/A were also very helpful! I look forward to studying Qigong more and would perhaps be interested in obtaining certification!

This excellent course incorporates exercises that are so critically needed in the geriatric population for physical health, decreasing stress and increasing enjoyment of life while the aging continues. For many, the changes that come with aging is very stressful and fearful. Peace of mind is at an all-time low with this group and a simple QiGong practice may be the key!
