It's a very interesting concept. I understand it is an emerging area, but I would have enjoyed hearing more specific ways we can promote sensory wellness in general populations (tier 1). Some handouts or something would have been nice.

Sorry, I did not find the teacher's teaching,or speech style conducive to my learning style. This is the fourth OT CEU that I have stated "while informative and interesting, the teachers , who should be highly educated and have exemplary language skill and speech skills, are at times inarticulate, grammatically incorrect, do not speak in complete sentences, misuse is and are, misuse words, do not complete thoughts. At times I find some of the speakers incomprehensible.

I think the overall concept and perspective of this course made it good. I also found learning about neuroception was something new for me because it was never brought up when I was in school for OTA and during my work experience as of date. I think the presenter could of provided more examples of treatment ideas and activities along with more resources we can use for further education for ourselves as therapists but also for the patients themselves and parents.

The course was delivered in occupation focused terms and concepts, as a practitioner who's newer to the practice area I was able to conceptualize how to apply these concepts to my every day practice in adult acute psychiatry. It also stimulated my desire to learn more about different assessments and specific interventions.

The rate of information sharing was slow and repettetive. There were very few insights which were unable to deduced with common sense. I felt a little dissapointed because the information was basic and the delivery style was a bit redundant. But the presenter seemed really nice, so that made up for it.

I worked in wellness and prevention for a few decades before becoming an OT. I have been following as much evidenced-based practice ideas for my new OT (side gig) wellness business. I am also a lover and proponent of all things sensory. This topic was excellent. I can clearly see the importance of sensory health and the relationship of sensory health to overall well-being. This course contained very useful information and was one of my favorite courses on ContinuEd to date.

I agree wholeheartedly that sensory health is the missing link in the wellness conversation. It is pretty exciting that our profession can help in understanding the vast role that the sensory system plays with regard to wellbeing. Catherine did a stellar job configuring this information. I would recommend this course to all occupational therapists no matter what their area of practice.

The speaker continually saying "Right", I have sensory issues myself and by 20 minutes I could barely tolerate listening. So I was reading the paper and it says right too LOL. There were a few moments when she was talking and actually completed a few sentences without saying Right. I was unable to focus 100% on the topic or the information, due to the inability to self regulate this day. Overall the content is good, the slide presentation is awesome.
