Thank you for sharing awareness of PANS/PANDAS! Every child with psychiatric symptoms should be evaluated with it. My daughter has PANS from Lyme Disease and has gotten much better with antibotic treatment and use of ibuprofen. Although, she did not have a sudden onset. Bit at 3, treated with 21 day course of abx, PANS at 4 yo. Many years of Lyme treatment with PANDAS/Lyme Dr. If I relied on traditional pediatricians should would have been dx'ed with multiple psych disorders.

When I was working in a outpatient pediatric clinic, I had many children who were ODD. This population of children age 0-5 years, was never pursued during my 32 years of OT intervention. However, taking this course and recalling how I treated the children, allowed to let me know that some of my gut/intuitive reactions toward the child was correct.
