I liked the dual presenters. The different frame of reference was interesting. Being that I have a kinesiology background as well I could relate to both and understand why I see things the way I do when working with my kiddos. I will definitely be using the short burst techniques moving forward.

This course is excellent, because both the instructor were awesome in explaining various aspects of motor skills whichever is difficult is toileting and steps to improve those skills, apply and study the level of difficulty through balance sheet (data). Make the client fluent in the required daily activities.

Reminder of the importance of activity analysis, through the component motor skill level, and how to build upon those skills in simple and fun ways, to achieve occupational performance. Not just for ADLs such as toileting, but across all performance areas. The content is applicable to all OTs in any practice setting. The presenters should consider changing the title to reflect its broad application, "Teaching Motor Skills: It's not just for toileting!" Excellent course, well worth the time!

The instructors did a good job covering their material together. The information was good for a motor review, along with review of activity analysis. I wish they had included more than one case study or more information involving specific examples of activities for addressing the activities for toileting, but overally they did a great job. The case study and other video examples of motor activities was helpful.

I wish Aditi was able to talk more because many of us are well versed in what component skills make up a composite skill. What is more often the barrier in teaching toileting is communicating with parents, building in motivation for a kid. Very little time was actually spent analyzing and really going in depth on toileting issues. For example, I have many kids that would benefit from more bowel/bladder control exercises that were not at all present in this lecture.

I originally took this course to help me teach my own child the motor-skills for toileting, but I work with the geriatric population with a lot of individuals with dementia and I believe these techniques will become handy and useful to re-teaching my clients the motor-planning they need to perform ADLs as well.

Refresher/reminder importance data and analysis beyond subjective/observations, ease of recruiting with "simpler" demands on child's potential or existing "team", rethinking overall toilet training strategies and how to get busy parents, caregivers (others) to "buy in" as best supports child and opportunities to practice skills on different levels throughout day.

Although I agree the title of the course may have been a bit misleading, the content was thorough and well presented and can be easily applied to any task. It was a great reminder that activity analysis is a great tool, but even better when we can take it a step further and really go into detail and specifics of each task to achieve a LTG. As someone with no peds experience (however many recruiters reaching out for employment opportunities) I feel like this course alone gives me a full toolkit.

While I did find this course interesting, I felt that is spent far too much time reviewing basic knowledge (basic kinesiology and activity analysis components) that OTs have, especially for an intermediate level course. I felt that the name of this course was misleading as it was at 1:42 before they really discussed toileting and there were minimal interventions discussed to help clients with toileting concerns and the focus was more on data collection.

There's a lot of emphasis on data collection on preparatory activities and parts of an activity, which I find to be less useful than grading the activity on the fly. This would not work in a large urban public school or even a nonpublic with inconsistent staffing complicated home situations. The data collection reminds me too much of ABA. The videos were well made but most of the focus is on re-teaching the same motor movements and activity analysis done in OT school.

Great workshop. When the skill is really broken down looking at functional motor skills relating to the task first; there is noted progress for the individual to complete the desired task more effectively in short amount of time with total compliance and with less problems. The new data sheetS are GREAT!!!! that in its' self was an added addition to the workshop. Thank You Great Job!!
