OTR/L, CPT, KTP, BA Music
Jacqueline Fox, OTR/L, CPT, KTP, BA Music was director and owner The Little Gym franchises in the area of California from Dana Point to Newport Beach and as far inland as Yorba Linda CA. While she successfully created and ran children’s choirs and sang professionally, she kept up with her OT practice. She continued private therapy and worked in skilled nursing, outpatient, a burn and lymphedema clinic, hand and neuro clinic, and acute care. She also provided personal training to prominent people in Orange County CA, such as the provost of the University of Irvine and academy award-winning actress Claire Trevor Bren for several years. In 1994, she relocated to Arizona and worked in schools and private pediatric settings. She began Gym5 sensory summer camp programs in 2013 after 1 year of research to identify the ideal occupational therapy services. She wanted to know if she was able to provide OT services without the constraints of an institution or insurance company. The journey led her down an exciting path where she found great results in writing and improvements in social, emotional, self-esteem, and visual and motor skills. She is excited to share some of her knowledge, enthusiasm, professional insights, and therapy stories with anyone who will listen and wants to create a successful program from the ground up.
