Wonderfully done! It can be hard to find courses that depict exercises that can be translated into inpatient acute care practice, but this course was really well organized and the speaker did a great job articulating ways to progress these activities from bed level, and I felt I could do a vast majority of these exercises with my patients.

I thought the applications were very practical- There's usually a couple of instances throughout the week where I have a patient who can't or won't, for whatever reason, get out of bed. Sometimes, I struggle to come up with things for them to do that aren't fillers but will actually build towards their goals in therapy.

Great practical ideas for engaging patients in exercise and functional tasks. Loved the focus on cognitive overlay and utilizing functional "exercise". As a home health OT I loved all the practical strategies for using "in-home" items for improving strength, balance, etc. The class is "bed-based", but the strategies can be transferred to all areas of rehab at home and returning the patient to their previous level of function.
