Joe Kardine is a native of Newark, Delaware, and currently resides in Philadelphia, Pa. He completed his undergrad/graduate education at Saint Francis University (PA) Master of Occupational Therapy program in 2014.
He is a licensed Occupational Therapist in PA and DE, completed a Certification as a Brain Injury Specialist and Certificate Program in Low Vision, and completed his Master of Business Administration from Thomas Jefferson University with a focus in Innovation.
Joe started his role as a new occupational therapist in acute rehabilitation where he additionally participated in areas of program development alongside his therapy colleagues, including but not limited to, an acute vision clinic and neuro-rehabilitation development. He continued his employment at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in 2016 where he valued time at the Comprehensive Concussion Center, Acute Care/Acute Rehab services, and primarily served in outpatient for acquired brain injury, and neurological conditions-general, and some work in orthopedics at the end of his time in their rehabilitation department.
Since the end of 2021, Joe transitioned into an administrative role where he currently is a program manager with a large role in Operations within the Jefferson Center for Neurorestoration (Jefferson.edu/cnr) where their mission is to enhance the lives of others through wearable technologies and software systems through clinical trials and phases of device development.
