The assessment tool is very helpful for evaluating seating in the school population. This too is helpful even if you’re a novice at adaptive seating and mobility. The case studies and examples of seating systems and their functions and purpose in the school systems was helpful knowledge. The speaker provided helpful rationals and resources for additional support.

The use of photographs was very helpful to illustrate functional and dysfunctional positions in various seating systems. Sometimes written descriptions are difficult to visualize, especially where seating systems are involved. I have seen advanced seating systems in a pediatric population before and recognize that these evaluation and assessment tools are extremely useful in optimizing functional and comfortable, safe seating systems.
