Question
Do companies ever adopt your ergonomic recommendations that were made for one client and apply them "company wide"?
Answer
It usually depends upon finances. If it is something that can be done and it doesn't cost them a lot, then they might adopt it for the whole company. For example, I am currently working in a toy factory where my client has to use an impact gun to loosen nuts and bolts on molds that make large plastic toys. I found an impact gun that was 5 pounds lighter than the standard model for my client to use. The company decided to invest in this new brand of impact gun for the whole company.
